Doctors
Our fertility specialists have a wealth of experience in managing all aspects of reproductive health and assisted conception for those experiencing problems conceiving. Having specialised at the world’s most renowned fertility centres in the UK, US and Israel they offer immense knowledge and expertise in treating even the most complicated cases. Whether you are a couple undergoing treatment for the first time, or a more complex case, your treatment will be individualised based on your specific needs following a thorough assessment of your medical history.
Embryologists
The RGS Embryology Team is comprised of 5 highly skilled and experienced embryologists (educated and trained at the most successful centres in the UK and Sweden). We are thus able to offer the most advanced IVF techniques using state of the art equipment in the most technologically advanced laboratory. As required for a clinic that is subject to regular ministry of health inspections, the laboratory meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and patient care including the implementation of double witnessing at each step of the ART process to act as a safeguard and a reassurance for both the clinic and patients. As well as performing routine IVF to the highest standard possible, our laboratory team use their advanced training to allow us to offer cutting edge techniques to enhance patient outcomes such as genetic testing techniques (CGH microarray and PGD) and sperm DNA fragmentation testing.
Nurses & Counsellors
Led by a team of dynamic midwives and nurses our nursing team has considerable experience in reproductive medicine. They are thus able to offer valuable clinical advice where appropriate. Their dedication, commitment and empathy makes them an invaluable support during what can be an emotionally difficult time.
Fertility counselling
RGS considers infertility counselling to be a very important element in the provision of fertility services for all patients. We are extremely sensitive to the emotions experienced by the infertile couple and the stress treatment may cause. Hence, fertility counselling is offered free of charge to all our patients and is available at any time of their convenience.
Should you be using donor sperm, eggs or embryos our infertility counsellor will provide an emotionally safe place in which to explore what treatment will involve and the lasting implications for you and those close to you.
Our counselling sessions will provide you with the opportunity to explore your feelings, coping strategies and any relationship issues which may arise during the process. It is possible that you may need support at different stages of treatment and therefore our in house fertility counsellor can be booked before, during or even after treatment.
